Film Screening & Guest Lecture with Professor Anne Gjelsvik (NTNU) Care Work in Dag Johan Haugerud’s Love (Kjærlighet) Dag Johan Haugerud is one of Scandinavia’s most recognized and influential contemporary filmmakers.

In 2024, he gained international acclaim with his trilogy Sex, Dreams, Love, which was selected for competition at major international film festivals. The film Dreams was awarded the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2025.

In her lecture, Professor Anne Gjelsvik takes Love (Kjærlighet) as her point of departure. The lecture introduces Haugerud’s cinematic work with a particular focus on how care work is represented and reflected in this film.

The event begins with a screening of the film at 4:00 pm, followed by the lecture and discussion. The lecture will be held in English.
